It seems to me that every time the winter season comes, everyone is in a panic, like a plague is coming, anthrax, west Nile virus or God’s punishment hovering over and inflicting every city with locus, wasp and killer bees, expecting the worse when it comes to their health. They often say, “I have to get ready to catch a cold and get sick this winter.” Now think about it, who plans to get sick at anytime of the year? Who decides when and how you will get sick? Did you know colds and flu are the leading cause of doctor’s clinical visits and days missed from work?

moringa magic minimizes cold symptonsFirst off, from a mental standpoint, if you expect to be sick during a certain time of the year, you will be sick. If you think of yourself as healthy, whole and happy, you will remain in this state, and thus contributing to a strong immune system. This is no flack, fluff or trickery because it is a proven fact that several people throughout history have healed themselves of sickness and disease being fueled by the power of belief.

Next, a lot of this will depend on the health of your immune system and how strong it is at every season of the year, including the winter. The human immune or what is scientifically know as the “defense system” is and has always been the determining factor of who gets a simple cold or flu this winter, spring, fall, and summer. Therefore let’s take a look at what the immune system is and what it actually does. Now, Mosby’s medical dictionary 6th edition definition of immune system says: “A system of tissues and organs that protects the body against pathogenic organisms and other foreign bodies. The principle components of the immune system include the bone marrow, the thymus, and the lymphoid tissues.”

Furthermore leukocytes, better know as defense cells or white blood cells are the defender cells that multiply when foreign invaders such as cold viruses, flu and other pathogens invade the body. Therefore it is you white blood cells or attack cells that multiply and invades to protect the red blood cells that have been invaded by the virus. It is also the multiplication of these cells that will helps to build the immune system.

When the virus is completely destroyed and immune system fully strengthened. People do not simply catch colds. They actually fall victim to a weak immune system that is under attach from other people with weak immune systems that spreads their colds or flu. That it! This is essentially how colds and flu are spread, from one weak immune individual to another. However the one with a strong immune system is not affected and we now need to discover why.

Immune system builders such as Moringa can help build a powerful immune system throughout the year when consumed on a regular basis. Moringa contains 25 times more iron content, than spinach, and combined with it’s high Beta-Carotene content, Moringa helps to improve the hemoglobin levels in the blood, which would in turn strengthens the immune system. In addition, Moringa contains a slew of B-vitamins such as vitamin B, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, D, E, K, folic acid, Calcium, Copper, Potassium, Chromium, Copper, Magnesium, and a host of other crucial vitamins, minerals and trace minerals that is essential for boosting the immune system.

Moringa also contains all 9 amino acids in protein. Just know that the magical Moringa tree and its leaves are so nutritionally potent, it would be an injustice to try and list all the many immune system boosting health benefits for Moringa.
