Moringa and the Immune System

Remember, the aging or weakening of the human body is always associated with a weak immune system and thus leaving the body susceptible to various germs which could be destroyed by a strong immune system. Now, you may ask, what makes this magical tropical Moringa plant so valuable in strengthening the immune system and thus preventing or reversing colds and flus?  To start, Moringa contains some 92 vitamins, minerals and 46 antioxidants!  This is the shocking and amazing truth of this life giving and health restoring plant.  Well, lets examine a little closer and break down a few of the many vitamins and minerals to see why.

First off, Moringa is extremely high in vitamin C and has been scientifically discovered to contain more than seven times the vitamin C of oranges, resulting in a potent antioxidant component.

Moringa has more nutrients then all combinations of fruits and vegetables together!

Vitamin A is one of the most widely studied nutrients associated with immune function.  In a study performed on preschool children for the American Society for Microbiology found that vitamin A supplement over a period of time decreased the risk of morbidity and mortality of some forms of diarrhea, infection of HIV, measles and malaria. This is encouraging news because Moringa contains 4 times the vitamin A in carrots.  Furthermore, Iron is a key component of the immune system to prevent or heal oneself from colds and flu.

Moringa contains 25 times more Iron content, than spinach, and combined with it’s high Beta-Carotene content, Moringa helps to improve the hemoglobin levels in the blood, which would in turn strengthens the immune system.  In addition, Moringa contains a slew of B-vitamins such as vitamin B, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, D, E, K, folic acid, Calcium, Copper, Potassium, Chromium, Copper, Magnesium, and a host of other crucial vitamins, minerals and trace minerals that is essential for boosting the immune system.

Moringa also contains all 8 amino acids in protein.  Just know that the magical Moringa tree and its leaves are so nutritionally potent, it would be an injustice to try and list all the many immune system boosting health benefits for Moringa.  Therefore if you have a current cold or flu, or would like to build up your immune system during any season of the year to prevent the onset of one, simply take a daily regiment of roughly 3 to 5 Moringa capsules or 1 table spoon of the powder per day in your favorite health foods to ward off sickness and boost energy levels.  No wonder why the Nigerians nicknamed this magical plant food “Nebedaya”, which means never die!
